The Never Ending Quest - Episode 76530

In the true fashion of her suddenly remembered TV hero, Stacy deftly constructs a couple of intricate devices from the various bits and bobs in the room, plus Jake's shoelaces. Just like in the show, vital details are left out of the narrative to keep readers from trying to copy the process and possibly hurting themselves.

"So how does this work?" Jake asks.

"By removing the hinge bolts," Stacy explains as she positions the devices and activates them. "Stand back, they may ricochet."

  1. Success. Both hinge bolts are removed.
  2. Partial success. Only one hinge bolt is removed.
  3. Failure. Both bolts are still in place. Turns out Stacy didn't actually do the censored parts.
  4. Epic failure. In her haste Stacy failed to notice that the door opens outwards and the hinge bolts are on the other side.
  5. Jake gets hit by a ricochet and jumps out of his shoes.
