Fred, however, is having an interesting, Scott inspired dream: he has recently gone public with a new surname, sparking intense debate across the kingdom about whether or not his last name is really "Kercheval", or if it's his more commonly known name of "D'Honaire". The debate gets so heated that sides are drawn, and the kingdom is torn apart by civil war. Lord Fred, meanwhile, has fled the country, and even though he has run as far as he can, he can still see and hear the great battle being fought.

All over confusion on what his surname truly is...

1. Eventually, Fred wakes up.
2. Fred continues to sleep, and his nightmare continues.
3. Fred dies in his sleep, meaning he is now somehow permanently trapped in that dream.
