A strange sort of lure for a strange sort of creature

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 75654

Sir Josh began to sing a song out of boredom. Too bad that current copyright laws forbids even the publishing of the lyrics of it. It was a great song, I tell you what. It wasn't exactly a love song and it wasn't exactly a funny song, though it did have some strange metaphors and similes in it. When such a song is just right, it makes it sound as if a solo had become a duet. That is because it had.

"Hello there, handsome," called a feminine voice from the shoreline after his song had ended. Of course in stories like this it had to be a mermaid. Long hair, big boobs, scales, fish tail, fins, you know the deal. Well, this fishy woman had been enchanted by Sir Josh's singing and had practically beached herself to get closer to him. She might not have been the brightest candle in the castle, but she was the prettiest.

"Hey, fish lips," he said. He smiled at his quick wit and just watched as her tail kept flapping against the sand.

  1. She was immediately turned off and retreated to the sea.
  2. She was immediately turned off, but she was stuck.
  3. Her husband showed up.
  4. Her wife showed up.
  5. She was deeply offended and declared that what he said was racist.
  6. She was deeply offended and declared that what the narrator had said was racist.
  7. She crawled up closer to him.
