"The dragon has no shortage of telepaths," the cheek-scarred woman said. "His own mental abilities are so great, that he can communicate telepathically with most of his servants."

"How did you know that these particular men were among that group?" Astra asked.

  1. One of the women explained how they knew.
  2. "We didn't, but it was safer to assume that they were telepaths."
