The spiral staircase has plain white walls, brown boards for the ceiling
and light bulbs in cages. It is a very wide spiral, six people can walk
abreast, allowing the trio to
see thirty feet ahead. The stairs are plain cement covered with a sheet of
rubber. Wear indicates the staircase has been used much.
The only thing is, each and every step is painted a different color. Well,
mostly, there are only so many colors in the universe.

Soon swirls and patterns appear to break up the single-color stairs.

Josh finds an 'Ever-Loaded .44 Magnum' and begins firing shots into the ceiling. "Pretty sounds!" he cries, then shoots the walls.
