Scott thinks about things for a moment. This has the stink of magic, and
if it is magic then getting all mad and going crazy is just what the wizard
who is messing with him probably wants. Scott nods, and says, "whatever,
Dragon. I am going to continue on." He then gets out a torch, lights it, and continues deeper into the caves. In the next room there is a small pool of water in the center, with a hanging rock formation dripping into it. This room is much larger than the one before it, with the ceiling at least ten feet in height. Scott is curious about the water, so he gets closer to the small pool, making sure not to touch it. As he gets closer, he sees movement in the pool. There are things in there, although their shapes are too random to be any fish he has ever heard of. "Hell no," Scott says, and goes towards the exit of the room. As he is walking out, he hears a splashing sound behind him. Spinning around, he sees a turtle-like creature has just crawled out of the pool. Its shell is mottled and ugly, and it has several strangely formed legs that extend out of it. Its head is like that of a snake, tongue flicking in and out. This does nothing but encourage Scott to leave the room. Progressing into the next room in the cave system, Scott finds himself on a staircase that begins gently sloping down into a huge cavern. The room is lit with several balls of soft golden light floating above tall poles. In the center of this room is a large marble floor on which tall podiums are around a central dais that houses a large rectangular table. Standing behind this table is a man in robes of the deepest purple, with a short goatee. He waves at Scott, and motions him down. Scott thinks about this, and follows his reasoning... and his decision and/or reasoning is?
