Suddenly, Fred watched the rope bridge closest to him start to shake
violently, and then, the far end dropped away from the floating kingdom.
The stone bridges that were barely visable connecting the opposite end of
the fortress also crumbled. Then, Fred saw a sight that he would carry with him for the rest of his life: the floating kingdom slowly plummeting into the dark blue waters. While the fortress was far enough away from Fred that he was in no immediate danger, a simple concept called the water displacement rule would quickly prove that any object as massive as a floating kingdom was going to create quite a wall of water on all sides, no matter how deep the water is. And that displaced water has to go somewhere. Fred makes a decision as he sees the absurdly high tsunami rushing towards him...
