It came to pass that we found Sir Toby in the back seat of a car with '80s
hit master Billy Ocean. Don't worry, he's just interviewing the singer.
So Billy, what have you been up to lately?
Just makin' royalties from my three biggest hits from twenty years ago.
I'm not making too much new music, since I now seem to be considered what
American radio executives call an 'oldies artist', which means I can be
like the Beach Boys, and go on tour playing nothing but music I made over
twenty years ago to a bunch of bored suburbanites.
Umm, it seems that I've misplaced my interview notes, and all I have is
one question from NEQ author Ben McClellan, who wants to know how you
enjoyed collaborating with reclusive musician Scott Walker in 1983.
Ah, yes, "Climate of Hunter". I did backup vocals on a song that Walker
just called "Track Three", and I didn't know for years that it was really
called "Delayed". Scott's a weird chap, man. Talented, but
eccentric. You know, Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits also played on that
record, too. He and I offered our services to Scott when he made his last
two records, but he said no. Mark and I heard those records, man.
They're not really what you'd consider hit material!

Sir Toby is reprimanded for being unprepared.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

So, what about this Caribbean Queen?
