Stacy got excited. Now she could find out where she worked, the first major step towards finding out who she was. "Which library was it, Mr Fogelberg?" Stacy asked. He looked at her in surprise. "Surely you know which library you work at? Oh, and please call me Dan."

  1. Stacy confesses that she has lost her memory.
  2. Stacy says that she works as a sort of roving assistant, filling in at any library in New York that is temporarily short-staffed, and she can't remember which one she was helping out at on this occasion.
