"You and whose army?" Astra asked defiantly.
Mirguam slinked up to her, stood up on his hind legs and looked straight
into her face as he bared his fangs menacingly. "I need no army!" he snarled.
"You don't?" the princess asked in a curious tone, adding as she pointed to
something behind him: "Then what did you bring that lion for?"
She hadn't really devoted a lot of time and thought to finding the most
efficient distraction for the wolf, but it turned out she had hit the
jackpot. He spun around and stared wildly into the bushes behind him as he
gasped "Nals..."
That's how far he got before the warrior princess had him in a headlock.

Big deal. The headlock lasts all of two seconds before Astra gets flipped headlong into the underbrush.

Against all odds (this must be her lucky day... well, sort of) Astra has found the lupine minion's weak point. She tightens her grip and starts choking him.

Before his air gets cut off completly, Mirguam whispers "Sidaj!" An eerie rumbling fills Astra's ears, and she feels her body turning hard and cold. She is turning to stone! Allarian marble, by the looks of it.
