"Order me, will you?" said the Wizard, looking distinctly unimpressed. "Nobody tells me what to do, not even the King." "But if you won't come, then Astra will probably die," said Vela. "If you won't do it for Lord Fred, or for the King, then won't you do it for me?" As she spoke, she blushed prettily. The Wizard replied:

  1. "Oh, all right then. I never could resist a maiden's entreaties."
  2. "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid you're wasting your time."
  3. "I won't come, but I will give you a magical item that may help you."
