Contract in Blood

"Exotica, no!!" Exeter howled, drawing his sword as he did so. "I'll slay this priest if I have to keep you from losing your soul!!"

Numerous nameless disciples of the Cenobite appeared in and around the tent. Dark hoods completely covered their eyes and they wielded maces of glowing darkness. Martine, Kenneth and Isabella suddenly burst in as well as a few of the human clerics and bowmen from outside. "You lie," the priest of Eibon glared. "It was never your intention to follow the Path of the Cenobite all along."

"Please tell me where Mary is!" Exotica pleaded. "Do you know where to find her?"

"She dwells in the realm of the cenobite now and is of no concern to us. I am certain she is happy there, having made the decision to submit, unlike you."

"Who is Mary?" Exeter asked. One of the black hooded cultists jumped foward and Isabella's sword was drawn to disembowel him. A wizard at the far end of the tent started chanting a spell, and the closest allied bowman immediately fired at him missing by inches.

"Exeter please stop this madness!" Exotica exclaimed.

"I cant let you lose your soul!" Exeter said, punching another Disciple and stabbing another as he came at him from the side. Arrows flew wildly as the tent started burning, and someone went rolling across the floor shrieking as they burned. The Priest of Eibon sat in the midst of the sudden carnage, glaring at Exotica as men battled around them with harsh guttural grunts and screams.

"But the path of the Cenobite is the only way to save us from the Shoggoth!"

The Priest of Eibon sat unmoving as the flames crackled around him. Within a few moments the followers of Eibon were all killed or captured with only 3 allied units killed or wounded. "You have destroyed my militant faction of Cenobites," the Priest said as he was placed in chains by the men at arms. "But it will do you naught if you do not submit."

"We'll be the one making the demands now!" Kenneth laughed, slapping the priest of Eibon.
