The James Bond Cheese-Talking Episode

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 72393

Having always been a sucker for spy movies, Scott can't resist going up to James Bond (who although he looks exactly like a young Sean Connery, Scott senses is the REAL Bond).

"Hey Jamesy" he announces, giving the British secret agent a hefty slap on the back "I ate cheese".

Connery/Bond turns slowly and fixes Scott with a steely gaze. "Sho, you like cheezh?" he eventually says in the familiarly slurred Scottish accent.

It is at this point that Scott begins to regret his choice of conversational topic. "Err yesh - I mean yes. I like cheese. Yes."

"Good" Bond replies after a short but awkward pause, "I alsho like cheezh".

This is dire, Scott thinks as the conversation churns to a halt. He is going to die of embarrassment unless he manages to find a more interesting topic of conversation . . .

  1. Scott attempts to ask why Connery/Bond always has a Scottish accent, even if he is playing an Irish American (The Untouchables), a Mexican (Highlander), an Englishman (various) or whatever
  2. Scott asks if he has ever surprised a villian in his lair, only to be told "Go away Mr Bond, I wasn't expecting you"
  3. Scott starts a discussion about Olestra and the problems caused by excessive use thereof
  4. Scott points behind Bond and, when he turns round to look, runs away
