Ferryman

The Ferryman is a tattered figure of grey robes shrouding a skeletal monstrous form.

"One tenth of the way to thy final destined point
Is the requisite path I annoint
Oar dipped in dark water takes you forth
Once you pay me what I am worth..."

With this, the creature holds on to its punt poll, equipped with a wickedly curved silvered blade instead of a normal paddle with one of its clawed hands and extends the other towards Sir Fred.

In response, Sir Fred-

1. gives the creature a silver coin.
2. attacks the Ferryman.
3. asks what worth the Ferryman has?
4. replies with a poetic riddle of his own:
