Tarin-Gazin was at that time in something of a pickle, as they say. He had had a few too many drinks at a local establishment, had said a few insulting words to a few very influental people, and had been locked up in a small cell in a madhouse, with only a straightjacket to wear.

  1. Tarin-Gazin plans his escape.
  2. Tarin-Gazin pretends to be insane, just for fun.
  3. Tarin-Gazin is rescued by Redwick Undersoor, half-dwarf extraordinaire.
  4. Tarin-Gazin meets a familiar person in the madhouse.
