The Never Ending Quest - Episode 71910

Jake and Josh find Eddie Dean in a room about thirty feet square, with multiple tables. Each long, rectangular table contained wonders, with more propped in the corners of hanging from the ceiling. Sprawled on the floor were five men and women in dark green lab coats, all knocked out. Eddie stood, rubbing his fists.
"Ah, man." he said. "Am I glad to see you. I don't know why I was helping these jerks pry apart these things but...thank god for this idiot over here." He nudged a red-haired man with his boot. "His nametag said Jacques Nequil and ... "
Josh kept watch as Jake nudged Eddie. "Don't hold it back."
"Sorry kid." he said. "Even after all we've been through, it still feels damned weird."
"So spit it out already."
"The first three letters of Jacques' last name. Why are they important?"
Josh had the disturbing feeling Eddie wasn't asking the two of them. Not really. But then it became less important as they heard voices. The layout of the hallway allowed them one choice only, to run to the left and they did. But Josh, before leaving, grabbed one of the wonders. Handwriting, Jacques' handwriting, detailed what it was.
What did Josh grab?

  1. A chain link that spoke of vitallity and endurance.
  2. The rarest G.I.Joe figure in existence, the legendary three and three quarters Scarface.
  3. A taser that would never run out of energy.
  4. A map that would always show the closest source of clean water.
  5. A lie detector that had four uses left.
  6. The Unrelenting Sandwhich. That's all the note said.
  7. A bumper sticker saying 'If this van's a rockin...'. Blue paint flakes were on the sticky side.
  8. A bag of Pokemon cards.
  9. A remote control that goes up to 17.
  10. A small paperback entitled 'The Eleventh Bridge Never Tells'.
