Fred Has Misgivings

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 71787

Fred couldn't help feeling a little uneasy. Astra might be skilled in diplomacy, but she had never had to bargain with an elf before. And though most elves were renowned for their kindness and generosity, this group were clearly somewhat different, as shown by their wanting something in exchange for providing food and shelter. So he was a little unhappy that Astra had used the expression "equal work". Equal to what? Might the elf-woman interpret this in a way that would result in their being exploited?

  1. He needn't have worried. They were treated fairly.
  2. He was right to worry. They were given a task that was unpleasant.
  3. Fred didn't know the half of it. They had stumbled on the Unseelie Court.
