Fred howled in anger and leapt toward the lizard-man, driving the length
of his sword into the creature's back. Black blood spurted in an acrid
stream spattering Fred's clothes, though he turned his head sideways to
avoid being hit in the face. Twisting in mid-air he ripped his sword
free, eviscerating the creature from its lower spine to its scrotum to
let it fall in a sideways heap. Falling to the floor Fred threw his sword
into one of the dwarves' neck but the dastardly demihuman batted it away
with his hammer. "Die!" chuckled the other dwarf, hitting Fred in the stomach with his hammer. The other dwarf scuttled up and hit Fred in the head as he spun around. As Fred collapsed to the floor he saw the girl from before was gagging and retching. All he could discern was that she had medium-length blonde hair before the dwarves stepped around him and started bashing with their hammers. Suddenly the blows stopped. Looking up wincing, Fred saw both the dwarves had been eviscerated from neck to scrotum. A monkey paced around their bodies - the monkey from before. "Oh shit NO not again!!" Fred screamed as the monkey leapt upon him clawing and scratching. Its sharp razor claws tore his flesh and his armor as if they were tissue of thin parchment, as blood spurted liberally from his wounds. Having reduced the skin all over his face to thin shreds it grabbed Fred by the neck and hurled him against the cavewall. He hit the sharp surface bodily and rolled down the slope in a shower of rocks. "I yield, sir!" Fred exclaimed, but the monkey's work was not yet done. It lunged toward him and kicked and punched him in the stomach repeatedly, then hurled him against the wall again, slapped him, and bit his ear with its teeth. Finally it slammed Fred's head into the wall again and ran away into the cave passages. "Eugh," Fred sobbed, laying on the ground in agony. "Now that's one monkey you dont wanna mess with!" It seemed the monkey had heard his comment because it was coming back again. It picked Fred up and jabbed its forefingers and knuckle into his eyes, effectively blinding him. Then it ripped off both his ears with its teeth, chewed them before spitting them out and punched Fred in the groin repeatedly. It flipped Fred into the air and leaped after him to deal him a devastating axe-kick that broke his jaw and leave Fred impaled on a sharp accumulation of frozen mineral water on the cave-floor...
Fred awoke with his head groaning in agony. Somehow he had survived again. He felt his ears to sense they were grown back, as was his nose and the rest of the skin on his face, but all of his skin seemed to be in severe pain. The rock thing he had fallen on was broken in half mysteriously. Stumbling to his feet Fred wondered if the girl from before was alright. Glancing over he saw her shivering in the corner, her eyes wide with madness.
