As Fred finishes fiddling with the sign, an important looking man comes
swaggering out of the inn with a beer stein in his hand. "I am the Overlord
of this ol' burg!" he declares beerily and keeps swaggering down the road.
Suddenly another man comes barging out of the inn and re-rearranges the sign to read "Overlord Barge Buyer". "I just bought the Overlord's barge," he announces. "Got it cheap too, a real barge-ain!" Groaning and writhing at the pun, Fred and Brin are almost afraid to ask the buyer what he plans to do with the barge. Fred asks anyway.
