Josh knew just enough Japanese to say 'Please give me your bra' and to
understand the youth was yelling in Japanese. He did not, however, have
any idea what the guy was saying.

Josh and Scott do what they always do when confronted with confusing foreigners, lock 'em in a dumpster.

Josh says 'Please' in Japanese, then 'English' in, well, English.

Josh chants 'Please give me your bra'.

Josh says 'I do not understand your language' loudly and with great force, as if this would break the language barrier.

Scott had a universal translator in his pants. IN his pants. It translated to French, which Josh, oddly knew (he also knew Bliznak, the language of the lost Tribe of New Jersey).
