Ranma was gasping his last breaths. He looked at his betrayers. Mousse, Kuno, and Taro just looked back at him. "We've got you now Saotome." said Mousse. "You can't fight the poison on those blades I stuck you with. You'll be dead in minutes." "Indeed Saotome." said Kuno. "You are finally done for. Now Akane Tendo will be free to show her love to me." "I've beaten you Ranma." said Taro. "Now Happosai will have to change my name. And there's nothing you can do about it now." "Pity Ryoga tried to stop us." said Mousse. "He didn't actually want to really kill you. I'm sure I stuck him with enough poison before he got lost." "Damn you all." said Ranma. Not only had they killed him. They'd killed Ryoga too. Just when he and Ryoga had worked out their differences and started to be friends again, and now Ryoga was dying, killed by these three. "You will pay." swore Ranma. "I'll find a way to come back and get you all. You will not get away with this." "Hahahaha!" laughed Mousse. "Oh, but we have. And now Shampoo is mine you enemy-of-all-women." *** Ranma looked around. He looked down at himself. He was standing upright, and he felt fine, but he was transparent. "I'm a ghost?" asked Ranma. "At the moment." said a female voice. Ranma turned around and asked "Kasumi?!" The girl looked at him and said "No Ranma. My name is Belldandy. I'm a Goddess." "Are you here to take me to the afterlife?" asked Ranma. "I can, but I also am here to offer you a choice." said Belldandy. "What choice?" asked Ranma. "You can go to the afterlife, or you can be sent back in time and reincarnated into a new body." said Belldandy. "It was not fair how you died. You can have eternal peace, or revenge now." Ranma just looked, and then all of a sudden a familiar voice asked behind him "Where the hell am I now?!" Ranma turned around, and there was Ryoga, who was also looking a very pale transparent. "Uh... hi Ryoga." said Ranma. "Guess the poison did get to you. Man, I'm sorry about that." "Poison?" Ryoga asked. "What? What's going on?" Then Ryoga got a pole-axed look on his face. "I was poisoned." said Ryoga. Then he looked... kinda fearful. "I remember now, I died." said Ryoga. "Wait a minute... Hey, I DIED!" "Well, this wasn't supposed to happen." said Belldandy. "Ryoga was supposed to live. Something has gone wrong here." "NO KIDDING!" said Ryoga. "I'd say something's wrong! I'm DEAD!" Suddenly Belldandy's cell phone rang. She blinked awhile. Then answered it. "Yes Father..." she said. "I see... I should... Both of them... Together... Allright. Yes, I will now Father." She closed the cell phone and looked at them. "Kami-Sama has asked me to express his apologies to you Ryoga." she said. "You were not supposed to die. However, due to some interference from the other side, the one who was supposed to help you did not arrive. We can't restore your old body to life. However, we can reincarnate you along with Ranma in a new life." "Huh, new life?" asked Ryoga. Belldandy then explained. "So, we get to reincarnate back in time, in some new body?" asked Ryoga. "And then when this year comes again, we can come back to Nerima for some revenge on Mousse and the others?" asked Ranma. Belldandy nodded. "Yes. That's right. What is your choice?" She smiled. "We choose to reincarnate." said Ranma. "I'm gonna make those guys pay in blood." said Ryoga. "You two will be reborn as brothers, and also have another sibling, perhaps more." said Belldandy. "We have selected ones of great importance. When You are reborn, it will be to a sibling with power." "That's fine with me, more allies, good." said Ranma. "I'm for that, more allies, better chances." said Ryoga. Belldandy nodded. She was pleased. She made some gestures with her hands, and they faded away entirely, to be reborn somewhere else in new lives with better chances.
