Whatever side effects the spell had, it was what was available, so it would
have to do. With a flash and a bang and some creative blurring, Astra was
free of her chains. Shaking her hands to restore circulation, she
discovered that they had turned into paws, albeit still with opposable
thumbs. Groping about her head she found that her ears had grown pointy and
wandered up the side of her skull. And there was a weight at the end of her
spine that turned out to be a quite prehensile tail.
She shrugged. "That's not so bad, mya." She gasped at the sound of her voice (and vocabulary) and clapped her handpaws over her mouth. And that's how she discovered the short muzzle with an adorable little snout. (It had better be adorable or there would be stern words with the authors.)
