The dead youth pitches face-first into the water. His rotting corpse contaminates it, causing a chain of diseases which kills hundreds of people. Way to go, Fred.
Meanwhile, Fred had gone back to Mr. Steed AKA Belboz and had smashed up the place until he acquired a sword which shot dragon-scarring flame.
