Most of the garments were either totally unsuitable or in a shockingly bright shade of pink, a colour that Astra could not abide. By a process of elimination, that left her with only a pair of panties and an undershirt in the same shade of baby blue. She put them on. They were slightly on the tight side, and left a couple of inches of bare midriff.

"Thank you," she said. "Though not ideal, it's certainly an improvement, and I am willing to co-operate. Now what?"

  1. "You are due in Training Room 1. Don't keep your instructor waiting."
  2. "Make your way to the gymnasium for physical fitness training."
  3. "It's time for drill. Go out onto the parade ground and join your fellow trainees."
  4. "Since you smashed the glass of liquid that was supposed to restore your strength after your long spell unconscious, [69310-1] your advanced training cannot begin yet. Instead go to the mess and ask for a replacement. It's potion ACX-135B."
  5. "That's 'Now what, sir?', soldier."
