Poor Josh Burbank goes through four very painful and emotionally draining
nervous breakdowns right in a row. Every one threatens to make the
previous one look tame in comparison.
But that isn't what the others in the room are discussing. They're
trying
to find out exactly where this 'Punch Babies' character came from. He is
insisting that he's legitimate, and from a version of Addventure, but
everyone else is skeptical.
"I'm telling you, I came from Addventure Game 4! You have to believe
me!"
protests Punch.
"There was no 'Game 4' in Addventure, though," Bruce counters.
"That's right, Punch," says Skip Hitler. "Most of us ended up moving
over
to Horsehockey when that site opened up when we couldn't wait for
Addventure to start the new game."
"Speaking of Horsehockey," asks Sara, HH v2.0 veteran, "when is that one
coming back? I'm not too wild about the bit parts I play here on NEQ. I
want to be one of the big stars!"
"Well...you never know," says One Stan, who is just as in the dark about
the return of Horsehockey as the rest of the world.
"Who cares about this Horsehockey?" demands Punch. "I'm the star of Game
4 from Addventure! It was the greatest extend-a-story ever! I'm the
greatest extend-a-story character ever created!"
"Ummm, sorry to interrupt, but shouldn't we do something about Josh down
there?" asks Furry Sara, gesturing to Josh, who is still curled in the
fetal position next to a teal sofa, sobbing hysterically.
"No time," replies Bruce. "Punch, I'm challenging you to give us some
evidence of this Addventure Game 4. When did it start? When did it
end?
Why weren't the rest of us consulted?"
"I'm glad you asked," replies Punch. "We started on January 1st, 2000
and
everything went out of business on June 31st of this year. I was the
main
character, as I've said before. We had several other minor Game 3
characters as part of the plot, like Scott Chen's evil twin brother Ulrik
and some quirky redhead named Lizzy. By the way, we also had Josh
Burbank as a crucial part of the story!"
Everybody looks at Punch. Even Josh had momentarily calmed down upon
hearing someone talking about him.

"T-there's only thirty days in June, liar!" snaps Josh.
