This was a strange and oddly appealing chance of life for the former Fred.
While this female form was an aberration the idea of a settled home life
caring for someone did appeal. The life of a questing knight was of
necessity an itinerant one and left little time for what might be consider
the normality of a family existence.
So it was that the lovely Freda took one the role of stand in mother to the awkward teenager. He became rather annoyed by her rather intolerant attitude to how he wanted to live his life and was fed up that she wasn't the docile little slave that his magic was aimed at creating. Even though she was strict Charlie did have to admit that Freda kept the house nice and, as an added bonus she proved to be an excellent cook. As the months passed Freda though of herself more as a pretty little housewife amd thoughts of the quest and Fred's old life were becoming more like some fantasy odf the past. It was then amongst all of this domestic bliss that . . .
