Fred looked down beside him. There was a good sized rock about the size
of his fist. He picked it up and chunked it straight at the dragon's head.
It fell rather slowly, and finally made a huge splash right above it's
head. At first nothing happened, but then he saw a red flash threw the
water, the dragon had opened it's eyes. It all happened so fast.
Suddenly there was water everywhere, the dragon had shot up out of the
water and was staring Fred right in the face. The dragon's head alone was
about 13 times bigger than him, and it's eye was the size of Fred's
body. "Holy Shit!" he exclaimed and staggered backwards. 'I dunno how I'm
gonna get myself outta this one,' he thought realizing how much smaller
it had looked from under the water. He pulled a huge sword from off his
back and held it in front of him. "Do not be alarmed," said a
voice coming from nowhere. "Wh-who's there!?" yelled Fred, frantically
looking around. Then, looked dead ahead at the dragon, sword still
clenched tight. "It is I, Thela, Goddess of Water. Now what seems to
bring you here." It was the dragon who had spoken! Yet her mouth
didn't move... 'Soooo, it's a girl?' thought Fred, slightly lowering his
weapon. "I've come to slay the evil, demonic dragon and reclaim the three
peices of wand that were stolen. Can you tell me where to find him?" The
dragon chuckled, her sleek light purple scales glistening in the light.
"I am the only dragon here, and I am a protector of this cave."
Fred looked surprised. By now his sword was being held in one hand and
not even raised at all. "But you don't look so terrible," he said to her
thinking about what awful things had been said. Fred wasn't sure what to
do now...
