She turned, to see quite a good-looking man in his late fifties. "Put her
down, Stacy,"
he said. "It's not like you to lose your temper, but I guess the
frustration of losing
your memory might do that. Now, Amanda, if you'd kindly make out a
visitor's pass for
Stacy, so that I can sign it." "Yes, of course, Mr Nielson." "And one more
thing.
If you want to keep your job, you will not tell anyone that Stacy has lost
her memory."
Whilst Amanda started making out the pass, Mr Nielson turned back to Stacy. "So you've lost your memory, huh? I guess that's rather ironic. Want to tell me all about it?" So Stacy told him her story. When she had finished, he said: "That's quite a story. In fact, it's such a good story that I'd love to use it on air, but that's up to you. I'd better introduce myself. I'm Dave Nielson, the producer of the news show that you work for. Fortunately you weren't due on air tonight, so you have some time in which to get your bearings.
