The Writing's On The Wall For Fred And Toby

Once the mists have dispersed sufficiently, Sirs Fred and Toby inspect
the walls of their new location. The near wall proves to be blank apart
from a
single inscription. "I am afraid I cannot translate these cursed runes" moans Fred. "Fear not," responds Sir Toby "for I know well this foreign tongue. 'Tis Imbethian, the language of my mother's mother. Let me see." Fred moves aside so that Toby can approach more closely. Toby examines the strange letters in detail and Fred can only marvel at the fact that his companion appears able to read without moving his lips. Suddenly Toby straightens up, and staggers back from the wall, his face an ashen hue. "What is wrong, Toby?" asks Sir Fred. It is a few moments before Sir Toby can gather his wits about him to respond. "The runes . . . they say:
