"Taste Crippling Shame!" Josh's mom cackles, directing a full dose of it at Mitchell, who is instantly knocked unconscious.

"That's enough, Ms. Burbank," Astra says, slapping Josh's mom. "Come to your senses!"

"I'm sorry," Josh's mom whispers, sitting down. "I dont know what came over me."

"Look, this is no time for bickering and infighting," Astra says. "And frankly, this is no time for poker either! We're trapped in the Discard Pile of an imaginary card game based on an extendable story based on our lives! What are we gonna do?!"

"Take off that corset baby!" Robert whistles.

"Look, I know what we have to do," Fred's evil twin chuckles. "We have to kill Fred and pretend we're him. Then we'll get into the King's good graces and be able to take over and rule the entire kingdom! Muahahahahahaha!!"

"You're all hopeless," Astra scoffs. "I know exactly what's to be done. If this is a story, all we have to do is write it. I just close my eyes and imagine the next scene..."

1. It works! They appear back in the throne room of the Aqualarian palace.
2. It sort of works, they're now back outside the Northern Caves.
3. It does not work, they're still in the Discard Pile.
4. It makes their situation worse, they're now in Hell.
