Stacy stared at the train schedule, gaping in disbelief. There was no 8:00 train from Newark! And no bomb either, apparently. "I don't believe it," she muttered. "The bastard's messing with my mind!" The question, of course, was why? Why make her come running out here? Sheer cruelty? A ruse to get her out of the apartment? Or did this Professor want her in this place at this time for some reason?

  3. Stacy dashed out of the train station and back to her apartment.
