Still Alive

When he came round, slightly surprised to be still alive, he found himself - still in Astra's body - naked and tied to a pole next to the one to which Carola (or was it Astra?) was bound. As his vision cleared, he saw that the Dragon was standing in front of him.

"I didn't give you enough gas to kill you," the Dragon said. "Not because I'm merciful, but because Astra had told me that she thought it might be the case that you could only transfer to a new body if the old one died. And I'd sooner know where you were, sir knight."

1. "But it's Astra that you're talking to now," Carola said, sounding puzzled.
2. "But my idea turned out to be false," Carola's body said. "Because he was in this body, but somehow switched bodies with me. You see, I'm Astra. Please release me." "What if you're Carola, trying to fool me into freeing you?"
