The Glare

"Josh, what the hell?" say Scott, grabbing him by the shoulders. "Why... why did you do this?"

"What's wrong?" says Josh. "I just wanted to help you."

"You what?"

"You've just been... kind of in a funk and not doing a lot of anything lately. I wanted to help motivate you. Bright orange is a really motivational color."

"It's motivating me to tear my eyes out."

1. This is too much. Scott can't stand to be in this room anymore. He charges up the staircase.
2. This is too much. Scott can't stand to be in this room anymore. He charges down the staircase.
3. But Scott just falls into a depressive funk again and flops down on the couch with his eyes closed. Josh can't stir him.
4. The bright orange paint warps time and space and Scott and Josh find themselves elsewhere.
