Astra is Not Impressed

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 66199

The Aqualarian princess, whose name happened to be Astra, was surprised to see Fred and Velus return within no more than twenty minutes. "What are you doing back here?" she asked. Then she caught sight of Straw Man and added, "Who's your friend?"

"He's a scarecrow," Fred said, rather unnecessarily. "He's looking for a brain."

"Well he can't have mine; I'm using it. You could give him yours, though, sir knight. I doubt that you'd notice any difference."

"Hey, there's no need to be like that," Fred protested. "After all, I'm the one who is going to free you from your chains."

"You are the one who has so far lamentably failed to free me from my chains. You are the one who was supposed to be going to kill the Dragon, to remove the curse on the chains, but who has returned here instead."

  1. Fred explains that they have returned to seek her advice on behalf of Straw Man.
  2. Fred has had enough. He finds a bandage in his pack and gags Astra with it.
  3. "Would you happen to know where I can find the yellow brick road?" the scarecrow asks Astra.
  4. At that moment, without any warning Astra's chains simply vanish. A ruse of the dragon, or something even stranger?
