Fred the Assassin

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 66193

The third guard was running as fast was he could, but he was more the 'tough muscle' type over the 'quick, talented fighter' and he was no match for an experienced fighter like Fred. Fred leaped at the guard, twisting his leg around him and with a of force, bringing him to the ground. A large, solid rock lay nearby. Fred picked up the rock, which was surprising heavy.

Tyrone was still screaming in pain while the last guard stared at Fred, watching for his next move. "How do you fight like that?" He wailed, "What kind of knight are you?"

"Knight?" Fred shook his head as he responded, "I do work for the king, and I am one of the finest warriors in the land... but I am no knight."

"Then what?"

"Who better to send on a mission like this than an assassin?" Fred continued. "But let's get to the point: I'm going to kill this man if you don't tell me what I need to know." Fred had one foot on the man, holding him down, and was holding a rock above his head, ready to strike. The guard whimpered, so Fred kicked him in the face, knocking him out.

Tyrone was still bleeding heavily, but he had calmed down, at least to the point that he was no longer screaming. "What makes you think we care about him?" He snarled, but was struggling with every word."

The other guard was appalled at Tyrone's apathy. "You always were an asshole, Tyrone." He readied his sword and lunged at Tyrone.

Fred now had an opportunity, deciding on his plan of attack:

  1. Take the opportunity to escape: Kill the hostage guard with the rock, leave Tyrone and the angry guard, and run away.
  2. Take the opportunity to escape: throw the rock at the angry guard, ignore Tyrone, leave the hostage knocked out, and run away.
  3. Do nothing, and wait for the guards to finish their fight. They could be of some use.
