"Who are you?" asked Exotica. "I am the dragon's right-hand woman, you might say. I handle the assigning of his slaves to tasks. You would do well to address me more politely, for all that you are a princess, for I am your superior here. You may call me 'Mistress Margaret'. And what is this man doing here? All the dragon's slaves are female, and he was not supposed to come through the door."

  1. "Now wait a minute," began Fred angrily.
  2. The woman gestured, and some force propelled Fred backwards and out through the door, which then slammed shut.
  3. "This is ridiculous," exploded Exotica. "Just who do you think you are?"
