Confused Yet? You Will Be!

Exotica scratched at the wizard's door hoping to get his attention. The wizard, a not very impressive-looking elderly man, soon opened it, and was about to shoo the little dog away when it quacked at him. That got his attention of course. He was soon able, by magical divination, to determine just what had occurred.

1. "I can transform you back to yourself now," he said, "including restoring your voice, though Lord Fred will stay as your double until we can get to him and I can cast another spell on him."
2. "I can at once undo the spell that makes this body a dog's, but that will leave you in what was Velus's human body."
3. "We will have to return to Lord Fred before I can do anything. Unfortunately, in the absence of Velus I can put you back in your own body, but Fred will have to go into the one that you now inhabit."
4. "If you wish to be changed back, you will have to promise me your hand in marriage. And don't think that you will be able to weasel out of it afterwards."
