During the course of the confrontation, the man attempts to stab the boy, whom he calls, Aaron, with a jewelled dagger. Astra, who had been thrown into a brick wall, stops this by flinging a pointed rock. It bounces off the man's skull. He spins three times, vomits copiously, then falls on his own dagger.
Velus whines. To make it worse, I.D. is discovered that proclaims the man to be the town mayor. Velus confirms this.
