"But if the dragon sometimes uses that tunnel when he leaves and re- enters the caves, this might be a good spot from which to ambush him," Fred suggested. "Well, yes, but this isn't the only exit. We might have to wait days or even weeks before he uses this one."

  1. As fate would have it, at that very moment the blue sky was blotted out as the dragon flew into the far end of the tunnel.
  2. "So we set up camp here. I have enough in my pack to feed two people for several weeks if need be."
  3. "Rather than wait here, then, we'll continue searching the caverns."
