Why me? I had been attempting up until now to not divulge personal (and embarrassing) information on at least SOME of these people from NERV. Don't mind in the too terribly the idea of all the dark little secrets of that John Lennon wannabe sunglass wearing, Mickey Mouse gloved bastard named Gendo Akari getting spilt, but . . .that's different. Besides, I've not done that . . . yet and won't unless it turns out to be needful. Matter of principle, you see. Wouldn't compromise those just for the hell of it, even for THAT SOB.

However, for the sake of the continued good health of the Eva pilot we've dubbed Asuka II I found a need to divulge sensitive personal information. Ah, do you actually believe that Chiana wasn't going to hurt that red headed teenager for continually being such a pest? For insulting her and her friend, Reika?! Rei?

Dear readers, in case you have forgotten our young Nebari starrunner turned Dragoness can be very protective of those she cares for, to the point of being vicious! And how long do you think Asuka II would last against Chiana in her dragon form, eh? Without access to her Eva unit, I mean?

Right! Not too long at all. Not saying that Chiana would intentionally kill Asuka, just rough her up BADLY!

Chiana was just not going to take anymore of Asuka II's guff despite my general briefings about her . . . condition. Ah, she and Asuka II in the same room . . . is just trouble waiting to happen. Rub each other the wrong way, you see. Chiana apparently did not understand how deep the trauma ran or else she'd not be so keen on continually . . .accidentally push Asuka's buttons. Creator only knows that if we'd only known a lot more about

Sigh.

I found it needful to reveal what I had revealed to Chiana in order to avoid the bloodshed that was in the making. The only consolation I can give myself is the fact that her life history (private life) is public knowledge from where I hale from (and thus easily accessible to Chiana when we get back). That and is public knowledge to those from . . . Half- life. Oh yes, soon enough she's going to find that her private life is going to be VERY public, alas.

Better soon tell her to look into getting the authorities to cook her up some kind of new identity and go into hiding because otherwise the Press is going to eat her alive, damnit! I could tell you a few horror stories about how some Paparazzi idiots somehow managed to smuggle themselves almost all the way to Terra Prime in order to try to get a scoop on some of my family and . . .

Well, I wish Asuka II luck. Maybe she can go and maybe apply for citizenship back upon her older sister's world. Things back there I could see being better for her, privacy wise. If that Terra is anything like my own, then any snooping investigative reporters better watch there step. Quiet a few have gotten a severe beating, those who'd gotten to Terra Prime and . . .

Nevermind, one thing at a time and that's for way in the future AFTER this Quest is over and done!

At least I'd staved off any conflict and grief coming from Chiana's corner. Now I must do the same here with Asuka II, soon enough.

Right now I have a rather urgent need to contact the others through one means or another. For the moment Rei I is safe (and Creator help anyone who attempts to harm her on my watch), but in order for this Quest to be successful we need to protect Tabris as well!

Creator, what a messed up situation this is! And with the Chaos energy running rampant (as witness the age regression of Asuka 1), who knows just how messed up it really is! We need to hook up (but quietly), and that means we need to reach out and touch people!

Being that the non-kidified Asukas here are the only other people in the group besides me and Chiana with a means of long range communication (i.e. both have either a cell phone or a form of communicator ala Star Trek), it means we've got some people to call!

Hm, before I jump into it let us just do a headcount here: Chiana, Asuka I, Asuka II, Asuka III, Rei I, Elrondir, Fred Takahashi, and some Kyoko Zeppelin Soryu apparently from a manga universe of Neon Genesis at a guess.

As it happens, one of the people that gets called just happened to have her cellphone ringer active...
