The woman -- late 20's, short dark hair, glasses, wearing jeans and a black
T-shirt -- looked vaguely familiar. Stacy immediately turned to the dust
jacket of the book, and saw that this was indeed, the author of the book.
"Oh, yes," she said. "I'm enjoying it very much. It's very clearly
written." The woman smiled. "Thanks!" she said. "Well, uh, I'll leave you to your meal..." She began to turn away. "Wait!" cried Stacy. The woman turned back, looking expectant. Stacy was unsure just why she'd called out, but somehow she found herself feeling deeply convinced that it was important to talk to this person. She fumbled for something to say next:
