Not being able to think of another plan, Astra pretended to faint.
Though she, like the man, was now made out of lava, enough of a crust had
formed
over the lava as it began to cool to prevent their bodies flowing together
when he took her in his arms.
Astra realised that she now felt very cold. Being in the open air she was not in what was now her natural element; she belonged in a pool of molten lava.
