(To recap: Fred and Princess Exotica are lost in the dragon's caves. Velus is missing. An attempt to conjure clothes is met with near disaster. But now Exotica is wearing a skimpy outfit and has her normal personality. It's better then the alternative...).
The two continue, making sure to discretely mark every turn. They make three before they come upon an open door set into a smooth wall. There was no one inside. To the left, the wall was covered with shelves. The shelves held scrolls, the fiction kind, detailing popular adventures. A few chairs sat in front of it. To the right there a set of darts and a magically created picture of the king. Further on was a mat, presumably for sparring. In the far right corner was a SceneTapestry, one that showed public events, sometimes at random. Powerful magic here, simply for the purpose of...entertainment? Fred figured it made sense. Sure, one can have legions of evil minions (though where were they?) but one had to make sure the minions were happy. Fred would have enjoyed this place if it wasn't set in the heart of enemy territory. (And just where was everyone?).
