Just What Do You Plan to Do About It

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 64570

Your administration chooses to invade "the small nation of Quebec". Forces are amassed, and pro-American sentiments and feelings are stirred up in the conservative media.

Up in Ottawa, the Canadian politicians are split down the middle. Half of them are outraged that their neighbors to the south would ever have the audacity to invade so soon after the war in Iraq got so out of control. The other half are quite ecstatic that someone is going to slap some sense into Quebec and their desire to secede from the rest of Canada.

As troops are airlifted towards Montreal, someone in Washington notices two things about the war agenda:
1. Quebec is a province of Canada, not an independent nation, no matter what they say.
2. Quebec is not by any means small. Any territory twice the size of Texas cannot be considered small! Besides, "sparsely populated" does not necessarily guarantee an easy military victory, Mr. President!

  1. Quebec is an easy pushover. The U.S. wins in five days.
  2. The war in Quebec drags on for 72 years, splits the United States, and kills more than two hundred million.
  3. The natives of Quebec easily drive the U.S. troops right out of town.
  4. You change your invasion plans at the last moment. Nunavut, you're next!
  5. The U.S. troops are being led by Josh Burbank and Scott Chen. Uh-oh...
