"But he's not really a monkey, surely?" asked Fred, curious, and thinking that Mendo might have used the wrong word speaking what was not his first language.

  2. "No, but he has decreed that he should be known so. One does not argue with a god."
  3. "It is blasphemy to question the origin of the Monkey. You must die."
