Fred wants to know about 'Christmas'.

Fred entered a crowded store full of footwear. He stopped an employee. "Excuse me, kind sir. What is the meaning of christmas?"

"Don't touch me." the man said and went away.

Odd, thought Fred. He left the store. A young male of dusky skin approached him. "Do you know the meaning of Christmas?" Fred asked.
The male's eyes lit up. "Yes. Giving. Give me a quarter so I can make a phone call."

Fred pulled aside his tunic to reach for the gold. As such, he exposed the blade hanging at his side. The young man backed off. Fred mentally shrugged and continued walking.

Surely someone knew what Christmas was. Fred's curiosity was raging now and he wouldn't get any sleep until he knew what it was. Who should he ask?

1. The man with no clothing.
2. The jolly man in red that the children visited.
3. The three men in identical blue uniforms heading straight for him.
