Frederigo was also rendered unconscious, for the fragrance of the flowers was soporific to humans. Faerie Astra wondered what she should do now. Since the other Astra was now weaponless, even when she regained consciousness she would not pose an immediate threat. But Faerie Astra knew that, wherever the other her might come from (which even magic could not determine), she did not belong in this world. For all that she seemed to have taken a very dark path, killing her was not an option. Even if sweet FA had been able to use her magic offensively, the pacifist that she now was would not have done so.

The fragrance of the flowers was beginning to disperse now, and soon the other two would come round. What should she do? What could she do?

  1. She tries to send Dark Astra back to wherever it was that she came from.
  2. She decides that, for the other's own good, she should try to transform her into a Blue Faerie. That should get rid of the darkness within her. Of course, it would be a very ambitious piece of magic to attempt.
  3. She regretfully decides that there is nothing further that she can do.
  4. Before she can come to a decision, the other comes round.
