Fred Tries to Fight

Fred decided, for better or worse, to attack what he saw as a black
dragon. Lowering his head and charging, he fully expected to impact said
dragon. Impact he certainly did, but not on his expected target. His
forward motion caused him to partially bury himself in the hoard. The
black dragon had done it's disappearing act again. Before Fred could free himself, he found himself being bodily pulled out by his tail. Seconds later he sailed through the air to impact painfully on the cavern wall. No serious damage had been done, but it left him winded for a crucial few minutes. The shadow-dragon flew up and, with ease, broke off a massive stalagtite. It then threw it at the prone form of Fred... to narrowly miss Fred's head.
