The Never Ending Quest - Episode 63161

The red-head cried out for Scott to save her. Scott blinked, wondering if his new eye was fooling him. This was Princess Astra of the kingdom to the North-West. She was tied securely to a simple chair with bright pink ropes, illuminated by a natural hole in the cavern ceiling. (She is dressed in a loose blue blouse, a dark green archer hat, brown boots and thick, black leather leggings...which was unusual somehow...)
Surrounding her are various works of art, statues, paintings and such that Scott, as a fan of theft, knew to have been stolen from popular and not-so-popular museums. (That one over there had just been lifted from the wall and carried out while the hoity toity were menaced by crossbows, such a shame).
The princess promises Scott one thousand gold pieces if he releases her.

  1. In moments, she is free.
  2. Scott cannot untie the ropes for some reason.
  3. Scott accidentally strangles himself with the ropes.
  4. Scott takes some of the paintings, as they are worth a lot more then a thousand gold pieces.
  5. Scott hears footsteps. Scott hides behind a statue.
  6. Scott hears voices. He doesn't move fast enough to hide but he freezes and is mistaken for a statue. Thank Offler for the statue-lessons by his slightly insane high school teacher.
  7. Scott hears voices but they are in his own head. Fortunately they tell him to free the princess and be nice to puppies.
  8. Scott ponders, then the princess has an idea. She rocks backward and the chair breaks. Scott is sad he did not free her.
