Wanted for Murder

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 62997

Astra hasn't been able to afford a very good horse, so she knows that her chances of outdistancing her pursuers are small. She is wondering whether she should fight or surrender - though she is brilliant with a sword, she is outnumbered ten to one - when the leading man shouts: "Give yourself up. I am the sherriff. You are accused of the murders of Fred Flint and Bill Smith."

"But that's ridiculous," Astra objects. "Some men made a nuisance of themselves, and I kicked one of them in the groin and punched another on the jaw, but that's all."

"That's not what I was told. Anyhow, this ain't the right time to discuss it. You can defend yourself when we get to the trial - before we string you up."

Astra doesn't like the sound of that.

  1. She fights.
  2. She flees.
  3. She goes with them, hoping to get a chance to escape later on.
  4. She is saved by a passing wizard. (He has the regulation long white beard.)
